With DJ's Jeff Foster, Buck Crumpton, Terry Hopper, Riki Vernon & Bobby Vaughn. Each DJ plays for one hour!! Hosted by these Shag Clubs, Mountain Shag Club, Electric City Shag Club, Upstate Shag Club, R&B Shag Club and Mountain Empire Shag Club. Admission $10.00–all shaggers are invited, you don't have to belong to a club, just come join the fun!~

Welcome to the website of "The Party Place and Event Center"!! (formerly Saluda Mountain Jamboree). Please take a few minutes and click on each page of the site to check on the calendar of events, ticket prices, contact or directions,or scroll through the picture albums on the gallery page! The events schedule page is where the booking calendar is located with information about performers, bands, or private bookings. The Party Place & Event Center is open all year. (sometimes we have a private event scheduled, so be sure to check the calendar) We have the largest dance floor in our area so folks can have fun dancing or just listening to the music. The bands play country, top 40's, oldies, beach, southern rock and a variety of good party music. We have great music and a fun time for everyone . If you don't dance, then just come listen, visit with friends and family, and have a good time.
The facility and grounds are frequently booked for private events. Always keep check on the schedule by clicking on the Events Schedule page. We can handle large groups of people inside or outside for your weddings, receptions, reunions, bridal showers, corporate events or retirement parties, fund raising, or other types of parties. You can just rent the facility and do the work, or we can offer packages to include food, entertainment, decorations and more. The Gallery page here on our website has several picture albums to view. The facility is a 12,000 sq. ft. building and is climate controlled for everyone's comfort, it has a huge dance floor, a beautiful stage, cozy rock fireplace, and state of the art sound system. The facility has plenty of air conditioning for summer months and central heating for winter months. There are spacious restrooms and we take pride in keeping our facility and grounds clean for our guests. Our gazebo and tree lined courtyard offer the best of natures beauty. The building is smoke free with smoking areas outside. It is easy to locate, just off I-26 at the Saluda Exit # 59. There is a large, lighted parking area, and even the largest bus has no problem getting in and out. If you get hungry or thirsty, the concession area has hot dogs, popcorn, soft drinks, bottled water, and snacks for refreshments. Beer and wine are also available in the custom designed bar area.
